I knew this would probably annoy me and I was right. All the sophistication of a cowboy movie where the baddies wear black hats. Seriously, is this the best enviro-disaster thing that the BBC can come up with? Yawn fest. I honestly wouldn't have lasted...

I was expecting great things in this book from a thinker I deeply admire. Unfortunately it has nothing new to say and has no chance of convincing anyone on either side of the fence. I'm not a big reader, I rarely read anything approaching philosophy...

Jimmy Doherty's Farming Heroes

One of the best programmes on food ever. Should be compulsory viewing for clueless urbanites. Whilst I've always enjoyed Jimmy's Farm, I wasn't expecting much from this. I was completely wrong. The opening espisode was a masterpiece.

Celebrity Masterchef 2008

This started very badly with a gaggle of incompetent hasbeens annoying me. Now at last 3, it's fantastic. Yes the formula is starting to grate badly but finding a natural cook like Liz warms the cockles of your heart.
